While golf is favored on this stunning course, this club is also considered very family centric and offers a range of activities for all ages and interests in addition to having a very active women’s club sponsoring monthly luncheons and numerous activities. There are elbow to elbow happy hours each Friday and live music many nights in season. Desert Horizons is currently under construction to upgrade the clubhouse, fitness, and tennis/pickleball facilities. The renovations are planned to be completed by October 2023.

Welcome to Desert Horizons
Desert Horizons Country Club is one of the most centrally located, established clubs in the Coachella Valley. With an enviable location in the heart of Indian Wells, the community offers panoramic mountain views. It has been a home to the famous and less known, both simply wanting a beautiful place to thrive. Desert Horizons enjoys a reputation for being one of the warmest most welcoming clubs in the valley. Neither too big nor too small, the community is comprised of 510 homes. There are 288 attached homes and 200 single-family homes. With over 23 floor plans ranging in size from 2,300 to 3,640 square feet, there is a wide array of choices available. Additionally there are 22 Fairway Estate custom homes with larger square footage.
Fitness and outdoor activities are plentiful at Desert Horizons Country Club. The community has numerous pools and spas, a fitness center, bocce, tennis and pickleball courts with a campus pro available most of the year. The 18-hole golf course is recognized as one of the prettiest, championship courses in the valley. There is a driving range and practice areas as well as several USGA teaching pros available year round.
The social activities are abundant. One can choose from a variety of activities. Beyond golf there are options like wine club dinners, concerts on the green, a speakers series and court tournaments to name a few activities to build community and friendships. In addition, there is also one of the most established and active Women’s Clubs in the valley. With a full Board array and no fewer than 18 interest groups, there are choices that appeal to all. In season each month, there is a program luncheon. The club was also established with a component that supports several beloved charities and includes a scholarship for girls at the College of the Desert.
Owning in Indian Wells comes with resident perks. Each year home owners receive priority access to the Tennis Garden and a complimentary set of tickets to a game. Each spring the Desert Town Hall Forum brings speakers from all over the world to offer a series of lectures on wide ranging topics. “Off campus” there are numerous discounts at the Indian Wells Resort just down the street for golf, spa and restaurant dining.
